Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for key product initiatives, from discovery and research to wireframing, prototyping, and final UI.
- Mentor and guide a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant, user-friendly designs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on solutions.
- Establish and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Champion user-centered design principles throughout the organization, advocating for the user in every decision.
- Present design concepts and strategies effectively to various audiences, including executive leadership.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools to continuously evolve our design practice.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in product design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior capacity, preferably within a fast-paced tech environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional UI/UX design skills, strategic thinking, and successful product launches.
- Proficiency with leading design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, ProtoPie).
- Expertise in user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design.
- Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, and front-end development principles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire design teams while managing multiple projects concurrently.
