Responsibilities
- Design and execute Phase I-III clinical trials with rigorous protocol adherence and regulatory compliance
- Lead multidisciplinary research teams including physicians, biostatisticians, and data scientists
- Analyze complex datasets to identify therapeutic targets and validate research hypotheses
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding from NIH, NSF, and private foundations
- Present findings at international conferences and publish in high-impact journals
- Mentor junior researchers and optimize lab workflows for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with FDA/EMA on regulatory submissions and post-market surveillance
Qualifications
- MD/PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in Life Sciences or related field
- 8+ years of progressive research experience in clinical trials or pharmaceutical development
- Proven track record of leading FDA-approved studies with documented outcomes
- Expertise in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, Python) and bioinformatics tools
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (minimum 15+ publications)
- Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory affairs
- Demonstrated experience with budget management and resource allocation
- Exceptional leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams
