Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, and validation of high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality assurance processes
- Develop comprehensive circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation using CAD tools like Altium Designer
- Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting of power electronics, motor drives, and energy storage systems
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on integrated system design and thermal management solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, UL, IEEE) and safety regulations
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and contribute to patent applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics, renewable energy systems, or grid infrastructure
- Expertise in circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems programming (C/C++) and real-time operating systems
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept to production
- Experience with EMC/EMI testing, safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced R&D environments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred
