Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure enterprise cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Establish infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards utilizing Terraform and Ansible to ensure automated compliance and rapid provisioning.
- Lead the containerization strategy using Kubernetes and Docker to modernize legacy monolithic applications into agile microservices.
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders to align IT strategy with overall business objectives and cost-optimization budgets.
- Mentor and guide a cross-functional team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Conduct regular architectural reviews, security audits, and disaster recovery simulation testing to ensure zero-downtime operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in enterprise systems engineering, with at least 4 years in a dedicated Cloud Architect role.
- Advanced certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional) or Azure equivalent are highly preferred.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions) and container orchestration engines (EKS, AKS, or native Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of presenting complex architectural concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
