Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries with precision and adherence to international safety standards.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, residents, and clinical nursing staff.
- Oversee preoperative consultations and postoperative patient recovery plans.
- Drive clinical research initiatives to advance cardiovascular surgical techniques.
- Participate in departmental strategy meetings to improve operational efficiency and patient care quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new diagnostic and robotic technologies.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of post-residency experience in a high-volume surgical environment.
- Proven track record of successful complex cardiac procedures.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the State of Massachusetts.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a commitment to mentoring medical staff.
- Strong publication record or involvement in clinical research trials is highly preferred.
