Responsibilities
- Perform complex cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABG, valve repairs, and aortic procedures.
- Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to determine optimal patient treatment plans.
- Mentor surgical residents and junior staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical precision.
- Drive the adoption of robotic-assisted surgical techniques and minimally invasive protocols.
- Collaborate with the research department to oversee clinical trials and academic publications.
- Maintain impeccable documentation and compliance with board-certified surgical standards.
- Provide critical post-operative oversight to ensure rapid patient recovery and safety.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board Certification in Thoracic or Cardiac Surgery.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of clinical experience in a high-volume cardiovascular setting.
- Proven track record of successful complex cardiac outcomes and peer-reviewed research.
- Expertise in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical platforms (e.g., Da Vinci).
