We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cardiac Sonographer to spearhead our imaging initiatives. Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms on adult patients.
- Supervise departmental workflow to ensure maximum diagnostic efficiency.
- Provide expert clinical oversight and mentorship to junior sonographers and students.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists to interpret findings and finalize diagnostic reports.
- Maintain all imaging equipment to ensure compliance with IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) standards.
- Develop and implement new clinical imaging protocols to improve diagnostic accuracy.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding complex patient cases.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Active ARDMS certification in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or high-volume cardiology practice.
- Proven leadership experience or clinical preceptor capabilities.
- Expertise in advanced 3D/4D imaging and strain imaging techniques.
- BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Outstanding analytical skills and ability to communicate complex medical data effectively.
