We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cardiac Sonographer to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services. In this role, you will lead clinical protocols, ensure the highest standards of patient care, and work with state-of-the-art ultrasound technology in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality echocardiographic procedures, including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentor junior sonographers in diagnostic accuracy.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret complex imaging findings.
- Maintain stringent quality control protocols for all diagnostic equipment.
- Manage patient documentation and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate workflow and scheduling to optimize diagnostic throughput.
- Assist in specialized TEE and Stress Echo procedures as required.
Qualifications
- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care or specialized cardiology setting.
- Proven ability to lead a clinical team and resolve complex technical issues.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and pathophysiology.
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills for patient and staff interaction.
- Strong proficiency with Epic EMR and PACS reporting systems.
