Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models and algorithms, focusing on scalability and performance.
- Conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, and generative AI, publishing findings and contributing to the scientific community.
- Mentor and guide a team of talented AI engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to translate business challenges into technical AI solutions.
- Define and implement best practices for AI model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring, ensuring robustness and ethical considerations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research and technology, evaluating and integrating new techniques into our product roadmap.
- Communicate complex AI concepts and project outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML research and development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior scientist role.
- Expertise in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex AI projects from conception to production.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of various machine learning algorithms, including deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for scalable AI model training and deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to conduct independent research, and strong communication abilities.
- Publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL) are highly desirable.
