Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel deep learning architectures for unsupervised and reinforcement learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI prototypes and scalable production models
- Author peer-reviewed publications for top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR)
- Translate complex AI research into patentable intellectual property
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI solutions into commercial platforms
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for AI model validation
- Stay current with emerging AI breakthroughs through academic partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed ML frameworks
- Published research in top-tier AI conferences with citation impact >50
- Strong background in at least one specialization: NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning
- Experience deploying production-scale ML systems at cloud scale (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex algorithms into business solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with mathematical maturity in linear algebra and probability
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
