Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, cleanup, and safety compliance
- Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain project cleanliness and organization throughout work areas
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to execute tasks accurately
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
- Participate in team briefings and contribute to problem-solving discussions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
- Minimum 1 year construction or general labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and flexible schedules
