Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct workplace hazard assessments and air quality monitoring across industrial sites
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and spill response protocols
- Stay current on emerging environmental regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare regulatory reports and ensure client compliance with federal/state requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- OSHA 30-hour certification and/or CSP/CHRM credentials
- Proficiency with EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong knowledge of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations
- Experience developing emergency response plans and business continuity strategies
- Proven ability to influence safety culture through data-driven reporting
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
