Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Design and deliver customized employee training programs on safety protocols, environmental regulations, and emergency response
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air/water quality monitoring, and sustainability reporting initiatives
- Leverage data analytics to track KPIs and drive continuous improvement in safety performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS principles into operational workflows
- Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging sustainability technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial or energy sector
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) required
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in developing environmental compliance programs and reducing incident rates
- Strong knowledge of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience managing EHS budgets and vendor relationships
