Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with federal/state regulations and industry best practices
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to implement corrective/preventive actions
  • Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and mitigation opportunities
  • Manage hazardous waste handling, spill response protocols, and emergency preparedness initiatives
  • Oversee worker training programs including OSHA compliance, confined space entry, and hazardous materials handling
  • Prepare and submit environmental compliance reports to regulatory agencies
  • Drive sustainability initiatives including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint management
  • Maintain EHS documentation systems and ensure record-keeping accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years progressive EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
