Responsibilities
- Develop and execute corporate EHS policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments for industrial/manufacturing operations
- Manage hazardous waste handling, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Oversee employee safety training programs including confined space, HAZWOPER, and PPE compliance
- Monitor environmental performance metrics and report sustainability data to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 8+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification required
- Expertise in OSHA VPP, ISO 14001, and RCRA compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Demonstrated experience managing environmental permits and regulatory reporting
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels
