Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action planning
- Manage environmental compliance including waste management, air permits, and spill prevention
- Lead safety training initiatives for 500+ employees across 3 industrial sites
- Oversee emergency response protocols and regulatory reporting
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven EHS metrics and KPIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 8+ years EHS experience in oil/gas, chemical, or manufacturing sectors
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation required
- Proven expertise in regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ)
- Advanced skills in incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Experience managing EHS software systems (e.g., Cority, ProcessMAP)
- Strong leadership abilities with change management expertise
- Knowledge of industrial hygiene and industrial waste management
