You will champion our 'Safety-First' culture, driving compliance and continuous improvement across our manufacturing facilities.
You will play a pivotal role in mitigating operational risks, spearheading environmental sustainability initiatives, and ensuring our team returns home safely every single day.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems across site operations.
- Conduct regular site audits, hazard assessments, and risk analysis to ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Facilitate comprehensive safety training programs for staff at all organizational levels.
- Manage environmental permitting processes and reporting for air, water, and waste management.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to integrate safety protocols into daily production workflows.
- Prepare and present monthly EHS performance metrics to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
- Demonstrated success in leading culture-change initiatives and safety behavioral programs.
- Strong technical writing and data analysis skills for reporting and record-keeping.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to regional facilities.
