Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS policies and procedures aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and reduce liability.
- Oversee regulatory reporting to local authorities and maintain accurate compliance documentation.
- Lead emergency preparedness drills and coordinate response teams for environmental incidents.
- Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all employees.
- Monitor environmental metrics including waste management, energy consumption, and emissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety, or a related field.
- Certification such as CSP, CIH, CHMM, or CPEP is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and environmental permitting processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate detailed compliance reports.
- Excellent communication skills to influence behavior, train staff, and present to senior leadership.
