Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging, and high-quality video content for diverse platforms and audiences.
- Collaborate closely with producers, directors, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and creative vision.
- Apply advanced color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance final productions.
- Manage and organize video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to project deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders effectively and iteratively, ensuring client satisfaction and creative alignment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new editing techniques, and software advancements to continuously elevate content quality.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input on storytelling, pacing, and overall production strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor, preferably within a creative agency or media production environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in diverse video styles, including short-form, long-form, documentary, and promotional content.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with a keen understanding of pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
- Solid knowledge of video formats, codecs, compression techniques, and best practices for various digital platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
