Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC milling machines according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret and edit G-code and M-code programs to optimize machining cycles.
- Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections of finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Collaborate with the production engineering team to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
- Maintain detailed production logs and report shift output accurately.
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools and fixtures for diverse workpieces.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a CNC Milling Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and troubleshooting (Fanuc or Mitsubishi controllers preferred).
- Solid understanding of machining processes, tool geometry, and material properties.
- High school diploma or vocational certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality control standards.
- Ability to work shift rotations as required by production schedules.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
