Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on skill building, coping mechanisms, and community support.
- Manage complex caseloads including crisis stabilization, substance abuse referrals, and housing navigation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurses, and legal advocates to ensure holistic client care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
- Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about mental health resources and reduce stigma.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with at least 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and cultural competence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress environments.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
