Responsibilities
- Perform catheterization procedures for diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and ECG during procedures
- Administer medications and contrast agents per protocol
- Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain sterile field and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient education before and after procedures
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years cath lab experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with balloon pumps and hemodynamic monitoring
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
