Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end research, development, and optimization of novel AI architectures, specifically focusing on Generative AI and LLMs.
- Design and implement robust data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and evaluation of large-scale models.
- Optimize existing models for inference speed, memory efficiency, and production stability.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to translate cutting-edge research into scalable, production-ready features.
- Stay at the forefront of the AI landscape by analyzing emerging trends and contributing to open-source initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, specifically Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
- Proven experience working with transformer architectures (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5).
- Experience with MLOps, model deployment (AWS/GCP), and version control (Git).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
